What is the lead time for a custom piece?
Smaller pieces 1-2 weeks, larger pieces can be 2-3 weeks.
Can I place a bulk order and get better pricing?
I ordered two of the same items but they look a little different, why?
Just like people, no two pieces of wood (even if it is the same type) are identical. Due to this we cannot guarantee any two pieces we make will be identical. Every board has different grain and color variations.
I am a real estate agent and I would like to buy gifts for my clients, do you offer discounts, and can I personalize it with my agent information?
Yes, we do offer a discount! Email us for more information. Our candle boxes, welcome signs, key holders and cutting boards are the most popular options among realtors. We do include the realtors name, contact information and brokerage name on/or with each item.
Where does our materials come from?
Most of our domestic hardwoods come from a local Amish wood mill in Middlefield. Sometimes we get wood from private individuals, like we have some old barn beams from a covered bridge in Harpesrsfield. We try to stick with locally sourced sustainable wood, but anywhere we can get unique boards, we like.
What shipping carriers do you use?
USPS, Fedex, UPS- whatever will do it for the best price and get it there the quickest soles chance of damage.
Can you use a piece of wood I have and incorporate it into the item I order?
We can absolutely try. Email us the idea and a photo of the wood so we can let you know.
